Our Vision and Values
Our Vision
At Rossington St Michael’s, we believe in excellence every day in every way and our vision is that all are welcome, accepted, achieve and are loved.
All Are Welcome
“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me a drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” Matthew 25:31–40
We teach our children the importance of creating an environment where everyone feels welcome. Each morning, all children are greeted warmly to begin their day with positivity. This value is modelled by staff—not only towards pupils and colleagues but also the wider school community.
Our children learn not just to feel welcome but to extend that same welcome to others.
All Are Accepted
“Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.” Romans 15:7
Across all areas of school life, our children know they are accepted. They learn that we are a beautifully diverse community—one that is both celebrated and supported. We praise and uplift each other to create an environment where everyone can flourish.
All Achieve
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
We give every child the opportunity to succeed across all areas of the curriculum. Recognising that we all learn in different ways, we strive to create an environment that supports and encourages every learner.
We also provide our staff with a wide range of opportunities to support their professional and personal development - because achievement matters at every level.
All Are Loved
“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving kindness.” Jeremiah 31:3
Throughout school, staff openly reassure children that they are loved. This culture of care helps children feel secure, accepted and nurtured which provides a foundation on which they can grow.
