Our Rules

At Rossington St Michael’s, our behaviour expectations are built on simplicity, consistency and shared values. We follow three core rules that guide every aspect of school life, helping to create a safe, respectful and thriving learning environment for all.

These rules are not just words on a wall - they are lived out every day by our children, staff and wider school community.

Be Ready

We are always ready to learn and to listen. We make sure we have what we need - our equipment, our focus and a positive attitude. We’re ready to take risks, make mistakes and give our very best in everything we do.

Be Respectful

We show respect for ourselves, for others and for our environment. We value differences, speak kindly, listen carefully and treat property - and people - with care.

Be Safe

We take responsibility for keeping ourselves and others safe. We use equipment sensibly, move around the school calmly and make thoughtful choices both in class and on the playground.

These simple but powerful rules are the foundation of our school community. Every member of Rossington St Michael’s - pupils, staff, and visitors - is expected to uphold them with pride. When we are ready, respectful, and safe, we shine together in all that we do.
