Our Church
Our Church
At Rossington St Michael’s, we are incredibly fortunate to have a strong and meaningful partnership with our local church. This connection lies at the heart of our school’s ethos, enriching the spiritual lives of our pupils and strengthening our shared sense of community.
Each Wednesday, our children attend uplifting and engaging services led by church leaders and members of our Governing Body. These weekly gatherings offer valuable opportunities for reflection, celebration, and spiritual learning. They help instil a deep sense of belonging and shared purpose within our school.
Throughout the year, we are also warmly welcomed into the church to participate in special services that mark significant moments in the Christian calendar. These visits are a cherished part of our school experience, and our pupils embrace them as an integral part of their spiritual and moral development.
We are deeply grateful to the church leaders and volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to making these moments so memorable.

Prayer to St. Michael
O glorious prince St. Michael,
chief and commander of the heavenly hosts,
guardian of souls, vanquisher of rebel spirits,
servant in the house of the Divine King
and our admirable conductor,
you who shine with excellence
and superhuman virtue deliver us from all evil,
who turn to you with confidence
and enable us by your gracious protection
to serve God more and more faithfully every day.
